Relaxed camping by the sea in the Netherlands

Would you like to enjoy camping by the sea this season? Then De Watersnip is what you are looking for! You can camp with us from 27 March to 30 September. Our campsite is a 30-minute walk from the sea, close to beautiful forests and the lovely beach at Petten. At our campsite, you can enjoy the fresh sea air, the North Holland coastline and beautiful cycling and walking routes. Our camping pitches are divided into three types: standard, comfort and luxury. Our campsite also offers various great facilities for young and old. Camping by the sea in the Netherlands has never been so much fun!

Please note: it is not permitted to erect a marquee on the camping pitches. 

                                                          

Where would you like to camp by the sea?

Comfortable camping in North Holland

At our campsite, you can choose from three types of camping pitches, depending on your wishes and preferences: the standard camping pitch, the comfort camping pitch and the luxury camping pitch. All camping pitches are equipped with a 6-amp electricity connection, with the option of increasing this for extra convenience. The comfort camping pitch offers 10 amp electricity as standard. If you opt for a comfort or luxury camping pitch, you will benefit from additional facilities, such as a waste water drain and a CAI connection for television or internet. Plenty to do while camping by the sea!

You won't be bored for a moment at our campsite and its surroundings! We offer countless fun facilities for all ages. Take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool or enjoy a delicious meal in our restaurant. When the weather is sunny, the children can enjoy themselves in the outdoor playground and with our enthusiastic entertainment team. Is the weather less favourable? Then our indoor play paradise and recreation team with indoor activities offer the perfect solution! The surrounding area also has plenty to offer: discover beautiful walking and cycling routes, hire E-choppers or brave the waves during a surfing adventure. ✦ Can I hire a bicycle at the park?

Yes, indeed! Because the surrounding area is definitely worth exploring, we offer the option of renting a bicycle from our bicycle rental service. The bicycles are equipped with handy bicycle seats so that you can cycle together with your child.

Petten is known for its beautiful beach, where you can enjoy recreational activities, walking and sunbathing. Many walking and cycling routes take you through dunes and past tulip fields with their stunning colours. When camping by the sea at our campsite, you can be on the beach within fifteen minutes.
