June is an excellent month for a holiday by the sea, especially at De Watersnip. The weather is starting to get warmer, but the tranquillity of the early season is still there. It is the perfect time to enjoy relaxing beach walks, refreshing dips in the sea and romantic sunsets. Our 5-star campsite, De Watersnip, is located a short distance from the coast in North Holland. Here you can stay on comfortable camping pitches or in accommodation such as camping wagons. With facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool and Petten beach a 15-minute walk away, there's no chance of getting bored.

Full of beach fun in June

With only 1 km to the North Sea, a visit to the beach is a must during your holiday in June at De Watersnip. Explore the beautiful dune area by bike, take a dip in the water, build the most beautiful sandcastles, enjoy a refreshing drink at a beach bar or practise a water sport such as (kite) surfing. Extra fun for young and old alike: go on a hilarious adventure ride over the waves during a banana boat session! North Holland also has many interesting places to visit, such as Schoorl with its beautiful dunes, Alkmaar with its weekly cheese market, and the artists' village of Bergen.

✦ When is the swimming pool open?

Our heated outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool are open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. So put on your swimwear and dive in whenever you like!

✦ What is there to do in Petten?

There is plenty to do in Petten! From relaxing on the beach to exploring the dunes on foot or by bike. Don't forget to visit the cosy beach bars for local delicacies and refreshing drinks. In addition, fun events are regularly organised in the village, so there is always something to do for young and old!
